Artist’s Description: After a few days walking the streets of New York taking photos, I finally got to dedicate a day to sketching on this street corner. I made one drawing that became two paintings. In looking at both Soho 1 & 2, there is a place where the image overlaps. I generally associate different places and scenes with color, that’s how I express my feeling about the energy. This scene felt copper colored.
