About Color Stories:
Every painting tells a story. They are my journals. Often they
contain several layers and take anywhere from an hour to several
years to complete, as I paint over them again and again. It is the
layers beneath the external image that give texture, depth, and a
life that I couldn’t have planned. As the paintings are inspired by
different time periods in my life, they are a witness to my
experiences. I believe that every work of art, if listened to, tells it’s
own story…and continues on its own journey after it leaves my
hands.
