Inspired by memories of my Grandma Katherine's garden.
"Bird On A Wire"
2009, oil on canvas, 36" x

the title reminds me of the lyrics to a song I love by my friend Amy Fisher...although I think her's are "black crow on a wire"
"New Garden"

The title is inspired by the randomness by which my mother would plant a garden...no plan--just joy.
